ALMOAYYED Computers bags Core Banking Infrastructure Deal

ALMOAYYED Computers, the flagship division of ALMOAYYED International Group, continued to thwart the current market slowdown by bagging a core banking infrastructure project (on Sun Microsystems Platform) from ELAF Bank, a Bahrain-based, Islamic wholesale bank. ELAF Bank offers investment banking services to corporate clients, institutional investors, and high net worth individuals encompassing advisory services focused on the debt & equity capital markets, as well as asset management services. The Bank’s primary focus is to originate, structure, and offer financial products that will strengthen the current state of the primary and secondary market for Sukuk.

The deal was recently formalized by Mr. Yousif Janahi, Head of Information Technology at ELAF Bank, Ms. Kinda Baydoun, Territory Sales Manager, Sun Bahrain, Mr. Abhijit Mangle, Sales Manager, ALMOAYYED Computers and Mr. Sudhir Kakkat, Business Development Manager, ALMOAYYED Computers.

“The strength and scalability of the Sun Solaris Operating System, coupled with the real-time processing capabilities of Sun servers, has prompted Elaf Bank to choose Sun as the platform for their Core Infrastructure,” commented Mr. Janahi while speaking about the project.

Guided by a singular vision -- "The Network is the Computer" -- Sun drives network participation through shared innovation, community development and open source leadership and it has been helping banks in the region to streamline its operations through ALMOAYYED Computers, its Principal Partner for more than 15 years now.

COMMUNIQUE congratulates the AC Team for bringing more and more prestigious projects into its kitty.
