ALMOAYYED TO ATTAIN REQUISITE BAHRAINISATION PERCENTAGE
According to the new company initiative, ALMOAYYED International Group will attain a requisite Bahrainisation percentage in the year 2008. However, the percentage will vary from one category to another. Moreover training and development will remain the utmost priority to lifting the standards of Bahrainis.
Speaking to Communique, Mr. Adel Jaffer, Specialist HR & Training, AIG, said ,” AIG has allocated a percentage budget to specific council especially for training & development of Bahraini work force in the company. Soon a new training plan will be proposed and individuals with potential will be identified and sent for training. However the employee has to sign a contact to serve the company to exact period of his/her training. Selection of the candidate will be in consultation with their respective Division/Departmental heads. Necessary support in purchasing books, magazines and periodicals will be rendered by the company.

He urged all Divisional Heads to identify potential candidate and refer to the HR & Training section to enable them utilize this scheme. He emphasized that training & development of Bahraini will help attain a check on the attrition rate as well as reach the optimum Bahrainisation percentage.
