Operating in Australia since 1989, throughout Asia since 1993 and with a current strong expansion into the Middle East, Dôme Coffees now has operations in Singapore, Malaysia, United Arab Emirates, Indonesia, Brunei, Philippines & Bahrain with close to 100 locations in 10 countries to be completed by the end of 2007. With a commitment to “think global and act local” Dôme has forged its corporate success on a customer experience built specifically around an old world European brasserie café. True to its core brand values in all locations internationally, Dôme operates with the flexibility to incorporate local market adaptations, creating menu items or translating materials as necessary to provide a relevant experience for every customer. A perfect place to grab a quick snack or take-away coffee, or somewhere to spend some time and enjoy the unique décor and atmosphere, Dôme cafes are uniquely placed to cater for all meal and beverage needs, across all parts of the day. |

The multinational company that is now Dôme Coffees started from humble beginnings in Perth, Western Australia in the early eighties when Phil May established Western Roast Coffee with a mission to supply only the finest quality Arabica coffees to discerning coffee drinkers. The philosophy of this and the subsequent cafés was simple; they were serving the world’s finest coffee with a selection of quality foods. The strength of this formula was soon realised, and many new Dôme cafes opened during the following years. The expansion has since continued not just in WA, but also in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Brunei, UAE and the Philippines. Dome Café , Bahrain is the recent addition in the list. We plan to open close to 10 locations in Bahrain & Qatar in the years to come. |

Since 2003 Dôme has reinvented both its menu and design platform by further enhancing on its base theming and heritage as an old world European café experience. Now a well established family casual dining experience with a great food and beverage offer for all major meal-parts the Dôme brand has succeeded in building on the initial success created by its founders. We describe this as The Greatest Cafe Show on Earth, and our ‘cast members’ (staff) work tirelessly onstage, backstage and off stage (the café, the kitchen, head office) to ‘perform’ this show to our valued audience members (customers).
