BBC NEWS FILMS DOCUMENTARY AT ALMOAYYED INTERNATIONAL GROUP

With recent prediction of Mass Unemployment in Gulf Arab states, by top consultant McKinsey, a recommendation was forwarded to upgrade the skill of young nationals to prepare for the new knowledge economy. Based on the recommendations Bahrain unveiled a number of new schemes to train young nationals and get them into employment.The BBC's Middle East Business Report visited ALMOAYYED International Group to film a female computing student from Bahrain Training Institute and see whether her skills are the type the company needs.

"Mr. Talib Sanad, IT Head of AIG, interviewed the skills learnt by the candidate in the Training Institute and found the person profound as per the requirement of a leading Information & Communication Technology Organisation. ALMOAYYED COMMERCIAL SERVICES LAUNCHES BROTHER RANGE OF PRINTING SOLUTIONS

Almoayyed Commercial Services (ACS) the premier business automation division of Almoayyed International Group (AIG) & Brother International (Gulf) FZE, jointly launched the latest range of Brother colour & B/W Printing Solutions in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Over 100 organisations, representing a cross section of both the public and private sector, attended this one day event at Hotel Crowne Plaza, Manama, in order to launch its next generation colour & B/W laser MFCs, printers and digital copiers, which are set to make laser printing a new standard for the business segment.Read More>>

SEDCO-TRAINING FOR ACS

With addition of SEDCO PRINTERS in the list of product line of ACS, SEDCO ( SYSTEMS & ELECTRONIC DEVELOPMENT FZCO) , Dubai conducted a hands on technical training to the technical team of Almoayyed Commercial Services.
Mr. Samer salah Technical Support Manager, SEDCO, Duabai conducted a technical training for five days from 08 -12, March 2008 at the ACS Technical Workshop at Sitra.
The training covered aspects like dot-matrix and line printers with arabisation. Details of arabisation, different setting related to the environment were discussed .

This training was of great help to ACS Technical Team in giving them more confidence in handling these complex projects. The engineers who attended the training are: Mr. Mohammed Ashfaq, Mr. Sathish Shetty, Mr. L. Fernandes, Mr. Wilfredo B Ong Jr., Mr. Harsh Thulasigeri, Mr. Elamaran Veerasamy, Mr. Bernad Pico San Luis, Mr. Anurag Joshi, Mr. Mohammed Jaffer, Mr. Harilal M S, Mr. Pious Jose.”
