Talib Sanad, Head IT, started “SAVE THE PLANET” initiative at AIG  by sending all AIG Head Quarter Offices used papers for recycling. Falcon Factory, Waste Paper Recycling Unit located near Sitra HQ was approached for this initiative. The factory agreed to keep a bin and collect papers from our Head Office at regular intervals without any cost being incurred.

This is indeed a great initiative of the part of “SAVE THE PLANET” initiative.  Now no more trees shall be cut in order to print papers that will never be used.  This will reduce paper costs considerable along with printing consumables cost.  Also the Printers maintenance cost shall be reduced in-turn increasing printers lifecycle.  This initiative will help save storage space in offices as a result render more office space for staff.    Use of electronic documentation would increase its security level transforming offices of tomorrow a truly paperless office.

The initiative was applauded from all concerned division & departments of AIG and all managers and sub-ordinate staff agreed to render all possible help to make this a success.

Speaking to us Mr. Talib said, “ I would like to invite all staff reporting to Sitra office to bring any unwanted papers like newspapers etc from their residence to extend this initiative and make this initiative a great success.”
